On Saturday, November 15th, the Wichita Eagle had a story about Brian's death. Bob hadn't seen it yet, but heard they were doing a story. I went out to the car and got my copy. Before reading it, he got a kick out of seeing that Brian got equal billing with Garth Brooks:

The same story was carried on the Associated Press and was in most other Kansas newspapers on Sunday, November 16, 1997.
