Leaving Winfield that afternoon, I found it appropriate to drive through the Cowley County Fairgrounds. As I approached, I could see that many of the leaves had fallen and the grounds were also almost devoid of people. However, off in the distance, at the west end of the Pecan Grove, I could see a blue van. Yes, that was the right tree! It had to be Greg Tucker a.k.a. River Rat! As I approached, I could see that it was indeed Greg and his wife:

As well as reflecting on things, I found they were taking pictures of each other with a Polaroid camera. They asked me to use their camera to take a picture of both of them. I did ask they asked and then took one with my own instrument.:

Then, for a change, I found myself at the other end of the lens. Greg asked to take a picture of me. He took two and gave me this one:
