Driven

Years at Winfield:

From a late night, impromptu jam session at the Walnut Valley Festival where some of the members first met, Driven has emerged as a band that John Lawless of Bluegrass Today proclaimed to be “as strong a contender for headliner status as anyone currently working the circuit.” That jam not only led to deep friendships among the members but also quickly grew into a powerful and innovative musical partnership.

The band consists of Rebekah Workman on fiddle and vocals, Jimmy Campbell on banjo, dobro and vocals, Brandon McLemore on mandolin and vocals, Blake McLemore on bass, vocals, and Jake Workman on guitar and vocals. Driven’s sound has been described as perfectly walking the line between contemporary and traditional bluegrass and is exemplified in their second album “You’ll Be Lonely, I’ll Be Gone”. With a focus on hard-driving rhythm and tight vocal harmonies, Driven strives to put the audience first with their energetic and engaging live performances.
