Sarah Morgan is from Sharps Chapel, TN; she placed third in this competition in 2010. Sarah Morgan is a 10th Grade student whose favorite subject is Biology. This was her first time to Winfield and the Festival. Sarah has been playing the mountain dulcimer for only eight years. Sarah’s first dulcimer was from her grandfather; he built it for her from a kit. She says this competition is one of the best ways to improve her skills. It was Sarah’s teacher and the dulcimer club she belongs to that encouraged her to come and participate. Sarah also plays the ukulele. Sarah takes back to Tennessee a 4FGCS Dulcimer from The Dulcimer Shoppe/McSpadden Mountain Dulcimers of Mountain View, AR.
