2015 - Scott Fore of Radford, VA has entered the contest seven times. Last year he took second and his continued efforts paid off this year. Scott spends a lot of time on the road as a Sales Manager for Bourgeois Guitars and of course that is the guitar he played in the competition. He began playing the guitar when he was about 15-years old and in addition to the guitar he plays the banjo, mandolin and bass. Scott has a book and CD out with flatpick solos. Music seems to be his real hobby.
Scott takes back to VA the 1st Place Trophy, a check for $3,000 and a Collins Winfield Model Mahogany/Adirondack Spruce Guitar by Collings Guitars of Austin, TX.
