Rising

Misty River is a quartet of musicians whose prowess as singers shines with radiance. The CD "Rising" is a collection of songs from the talented songwriter member and fiddler, Chris Kokesh. Chris gives songs of poetic nature like Real As A Dream penned by her. Other standouts are the Townes Van Zandt If I Needed You, and the Tom Paxton favorite, The Last Thing On My Mind. This self-produced recording is a hint of good things to come from a new act.
