2015 - Third place went to a person who was making her fifth time to enter this contest. Marti Knauer
hails from Springfield, MO. She has place in the top five twice and in 2004 she placed third.
Marti started playing the autoharp back in 1994 and spent some time learning at the Bryan
Bower’s camp. She also plays the ukulele. She and her husband Kenny have been coming to
Winfield since 1981 and have never missed a year! Marti won the 3rd Place Trophy, $75 in cash
and an Oscar Schmidt OS 11021AE Autoharp by Oscar Schmidt/US Music Corporation of
Buffalo Grove, IL
