Regina Scott

2017 - Third place this year was awarded to a young lady, Regina Scott of Tulsa, OK, who made the cut to the top five in 2014 and took third place in 2016. This 15-year old has been playing the fiddle since she was 5-years old. At 15 she is a Sophomore Student at Holland Hall School where her favorite subjects are math and science and says her favorite subject is chemistry. Regina says she plays piano, mandolin, guitar and a little ukulele. Regina loves entering this contest and also loves to eat all the wonderful food found at the Festival. Her plans are to continue entering this contest until she gets first place. She enjoys reading, playing music, writing, math and science, “hanging out with friends,” and Harry Potter stories and can you believe boxing. I am sure we’ll see more of her in future years. For her efforts she won the 3rd Place Trophy and the Jerek Koscielny Fiddle represented by the Beautiful Music Violin Shop of Lawrence, KS.
